Britney Magazine Analysis 2

The image has been framed using cover lines from the magazine contents. The photo is a mid shot, this has been used to show the top half of britney’s body and to show off her figure, the white walls that she is standing inbetween emphasise the colour of her skin and hair. Britney’s costume is very revealing, the only piece ofc clothing we can see her wearing are her white knickers. The colour of her clothing is white, this colour portray’s her to be innocent and pure. Britney’s facial expression also portray’s that she is innocent, her smile is very sweet and  pure. The way that she is staring at the camera is also innocent but catchy, the target audience would look at this as if she was looking at them, it seems as though she wants them to feel some sort ofr connection with them.

The setting looks like it is in a bedroom, this portrays a sexual image, Britney is inbetween two white walls, these walls emphasise the shape of her body and the colour. The walls are obviously straight which makes her curves and body shape more appealing. All of these things are attractive and are getting the attention of her male audience.

The connotations of the setting are heavan like, this is obviously targeted towards the male audience. The image is more for male attention because although it has a heavanly and pure portrayal it is also sexual and very revealing. The image is showing both the innocent side of Britney and the sexual side.
