My target audience are girls aged 16-18; it will be aimed at girls who like the indie pop genre. I am doing this group because I know things that they like and I understand what they find interesting.
My magazine is going to be based on the genre indie pop and it is going to appeal to girls who listen to artists like Florence & The Machine, La Roux, Robyn, The Ting Tings... I am doing this genre because I think it is a fun genre to research and it will make my magazine unique.
My magazine will be published monthly so that it can be updated properly and not have the same things in it, also because my target audience will be able to afford it more if it is sold monthly instead of weekly.
My magazine is going to cost about £3.50; this is so that my target audience can afford it, as they don’t earn a lot of money, buying a magazine monthly will be easier.
My magazine is going to be a glossy magazine; my target audience would enjoy a glossy magazine rather than a magazine more like a newspaper because teenage girls like gossip and pictures. They also like reading about different artists and bands and I think this would be better in a glossy magazine than a newspaper.
